I have a fetish for drawings. A drawing can reveal feelings, observation, or understanding by the artist. When I look at another’s line and marks, I sense their feelings, thoughts, and spirit unencumbered by additional process and craft. I feel what they feel. Drawing invokes the raw power of expression I seek as an artist. Feelings must be expressed. Observation will occur, understanding may occur, but human emotion is relentless.
